CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the Pulliam Funeral Home in Oblong with Bro. Randy Nave and Bro. Jeff Monroney officiating. Burial will be in the Olive Branch Cemetery north of Annapolis, Illinois.

Earl F. Kamplain, 66, Oblong, IL, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, May 9, 2014 at his home in Oblong.
Earl was born on June 29, 1947 in Robinson, IL. and was the son of Franklin D. and Elizabeth Jeanette (Reynolds) Kamplain. He was married to Sheila Ann Nave who survives.
Earl was a long time employee of 44 years with Tempco Products where he was a truck driver delivering Tempco products throughout Indiana and Illinois. In 1966 he worked for a short time at the Briggs plant in Robinson, IL in the slip room. Earl attended Robinson schools, was a member of Prior Grove Baptist Church, rural Oblong. He enjoyed woodworking, tinkering with anything, being on the computer, playing guitars and especially loved the time he spent with friends and family.
Earl is survived by his wife Sheila Kamplain of Oblong, Il; two sons and a daughter-in-law Mike and Kelli Kamplain of Flat Rock, Il. and Dwight Kamplain of Robinson, IL; three daughters and two sons-in-laws Debbie and Tony Funneman of Wheeler, IL. Angela Rhinehart and companion Jon Haley of Oklahoma City, OK. and Wendy and Greg Pritts of Oblong, IL; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother Ron Kamplain of Bridgeport, IL; three sisters and two brothers-in-law Naydene Sandefer of Robinson, IL; Louise and Randall Melton of Robinson and Gail and Steve Hall of Robinson, IL; a step-son Kevin Stephens of Robinson, IL; also surviving are several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding Earl in death were is parents and two sisters Rose Marie Dorney and Loretta Tracy.
